My much beloved father-in-law passed away, peacefully and painlessly, at about 5:00 am today. He was the last of our four parents and his death brings back all the pain of the other deaths, as well as its own pain.
He was a wonderful, kind, loving, intelligent man and he'll be sorely missed by his family.

Oh, Mary, what a sad year it's been for you. First your mother, then Neil the collie, then taking care of you mother's house, and now this. I hope that's the last of the sadness for a while. Please know that you are in my thoughts.
I have great hopes that this spring will bring a new collie puppy. His name will be Gordo (after Gordon Fullerton, astronaut, test pilot, and neighbor).
I'm so sorry for your loss.
Condolences. Each pain triggers both old and fresh feelings. Good strength.
